Personality: Tendou is a very loud and cheerful person. He's got no worries about what people think about him and he doesn't really hold back. On the court he's often seen as very antagonistic and at times uses his perception to get under his opponent's team. He pushes at their weaknesses mentally and physically. However, despite those outside of his team's perception he's actually a very kind and caring person. An example of this is at his school's training camp that invited other players as Hinata is told that there's not room to stay for ball boys he's telling Ushijima that there is a place that Hinata could stay -- not that they put this plan into motion because crossing the coach is a bit of an iffy thing.
He's extremely loyal to his friends. For most of his life he was bullied and an outcast. His appearance is considered a bit lizard-like by his peers and his parents chose the kanji for 'satori' that basically refers to a Japanese folk monster of sorts and he struggled to fit in. Once he meets Ushijima he's able to become friends and understand his friend who himself seems to struggle to connect with people due to his flat affect and extremely strict way of viewing the world and concise speech. Tendou never tries to change Ushijima and instead adapts to him while not compromising himself either growing a very deep bond of love and mutual respect between the two of them.
Powers and abilities: Extremely skilled volleyball middle blocker, in not sports terms, he has above average, reflexes, arm reach, jumping power. One of his best skills is perception and the ability to read situations and people.
